TBCTとは？

　ひまわりを栽培して、バイオマス燃料BDFを作り、”バイオカート”を走らせる。カーボンニュートラルを体験し、”地球環境”を学習する取り組みを行っている団体です。

About TBCT

A sunflower is grown, the biomass fuel BDF is made and a "biotechnology cart" is made to run. It is the organization who is taking the measure which experiences a carbon neutral and learns "earth environment."

ひまわりを地域の方々や小学生と一緒に4万8千本栽培しました。このひまわりから種を取り、油を絞ります。また、茎から紙を作ります。

48,000 sunflowers were grown together with people and the schoolchild of an area. A seed is taken from this sunflower and oil is extracted. Moreover, paper is made from a stalk.

ひまわりから作った燃料”BDF(Bio Diesel Fuel)”を使ってカートを走らせても、排出するCO2は”カーボンニュートラル”です。

Even if it makes a cart run using fuel"BDF(Bio Diesel Fuel)" made from the sunflower, CO2 to discharge is a "carbon neutral."

これを体験して、”地球温暖化(地球環境)”を考える学習を小学校や地域で開催しています。また、”チームマイナス6％”にも参加しています。

This is experienced and the study which considers "global warming (earth environment)" is held in the elementary school or the area. Moreover, it has participated to "team -6%."

※カーボンニュートラル：植物が成長する際に、光合成で地球上のCO2を吸収しているために、植物から作った燃料を使って出るCO2は元々地球上にあったものと考え、新たな温室効果ガスの排出としない。

* Carbon neutral : since CO2 on the earth is absorbed by photosynthesis in case a plant grows, CO2 which comes out using the fuel made from the plant thinks that it was on the earth from the first, and is not taken as discharge of new greenhouse gas.
