This website was initiated with support of NSF grant CS-0617316 (Philippe Schlenker, Principal Investigator), as part of a project which includes as its aims:

• to investigate explanatory, empirical and architectural problems with some of the standard theories of binding

• to focus on a pragmatic reinterpretation of Binding Theory in hope to better account for those problems.

The goal of this website is to make data collected  and classified during the course of the project publically available, in the hope that the it can be useful in the evaluation current and future theories of binding and anaphora.
