Hello all! Welcome to the website. I'm Bill Guy. I realize this site is quite dated and very basic, but it still serves as an online place to access songs I have written, performed and recorded over a number of years. I have a modest recording studio in my home, which I have in recent years overhauled so that I can do all of my recording projects via my laptop computer and various computer recording software. I have two Yamaha guitars, a Yamaha arranger keyboard and a couple of inexpensive microphones. I also have several old friends and a few other people who have assisted me with the music. We sometimes call ourselves "Bill & the Boomers" and sometimes "Under the Radar." I've also played with some old college buddies and we have most recently been known as "Off Our Rocker." Most of our music is in the musical styles of the golden age of rock 'n roll, the 1950s and 60s. My main influences are Doo-Wop, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, the Beatles and other British invasion groups, and old Christian artists such as Phil Keaggy, Glad and The 2nd Chapter of Acts.
I became a Christian back in 1985 when I received Jesus Christ as my Savior. I'm trusting Him and His death on the cross of Calvary, His burial and resurrection as the only payment acceptable to God for my sins. Jesus saved me from Hell and provided me eternal life in Heaven, and He can do the same for everyone who receives Him as their Savior. Jesus is the Son of God and the living Word of God. The Holy Bible is the written word of God. Because of this my main focus here is to preserve Christian songs I've written, performed and recorded over the years. I simply want to present truth in the styles of music I know.
Secondly, I'm also including some unfinished cover songs done by "Off Our Rocker" and related groups, which have not been previously released in this form.
Thanks for checking us out.
Sincerely,
Bill
