Race format

Race entry

Entries close 15 minutes before race start 9:00 am. Entry into each race will be $5 for seniors and $1 for juniors payable on race day.

Points

Any licensed rider can race in the series but Riders must be licensed members of the Warragul Cycling Club to accumulate points for the BikeLand point score championship.

Points will be allocated after each race with diminishing points for places 1st to 10th.
In addition to points for places, riders will receive 1 point for racing, an additional point if riders raced the previous round, an additional point for fastest time and an additional point for first year riders (Rookie; joined in the 2009 season).

Riders performing marshalling duties will receive all of their ride points plus 1 point in lieu of placing points.

To ensure fairness, Chief Handicapper Shane Stiles will claim points for races but will not be eligible for series prizes.  Any claim to position and prizes will go to the next best placed rider.
