One afternoon at the house, I went into the back yard and noticed a couple of Mourning Doves sitting around...I was able to get really close and snap these pictures. ----------------- When I got up this morning, I noticed that it must have rained before I got up, since the driveway was wet. I thought "This would be a good day to take pictures"...so after breakfast, I headed out. When I left the apartment, it was raining lightly...no big deal; I'll adapt. When I get on the 401, it starts raining harder...and when I get to Canadian Tire, it's raining even harder...so I was like "shite, I guess I won't be taking pictures in this! I decided I'd go in and buy the wiper blades I was there to buy, but discovered I'd left my money and driver's license at home. So I took a few pictures after the rain slowed down, and went to Mom's house for a few minutes. It's weird being in there without Terrance greeting me...anyway, by the time I left, the rain had stopped, so I headed out to Scarborough to take some more pics. I ended up going to Malvern, along McLovin (er, McLevin) and Nugget, down to the Scarborough Town Center, where I saw my photo magnet...the RT...and then I got sidetracked from my original mission, which was to explore new parts of Scarborough. My quest for more RT pictures led me to Ellesmere Station, and by that time, it was getting really dark, so I headed home. I ate some No Name™ Alpha-Ghetti and that brings us to now.

Union of South Africa at Scarborough. Unfortunately the signal gantry and the signal box are going to be removed in 2009 and replaced with coloured lights. August 22nd 2008. Update: The signal gantry is due to be taken away to Goathland (North York Moors Railway) in October 2010. Scarborough station is going to be closed for one month while Network rail re-align the track.
