I am a DIY'er that works out of a 1 car garage in the summer that is used mostly for storage. In the winter I have a small workbench in the basement for the smaller projects that I work on. I'm currently in the process of moving so i'm not yet sure what I will have access to in the new house. I do not own any stationary power tools, so just about anyone should be able to complete the projects shown here. Also, I'm not what anyone would call rich, so my projects are quite affordable. Over the years I have built a few things for my children. Below are some projects that I want to share so other parents can do the same.

I do not want to see these projects being produced for a profit, or their plans being sold. About Me I actually work in the computer industry. Yes, i'm a geek. I do have some backgound in construction. The first summer break in college I worked as a gopher in a cabinet shop. Next summer I worked in a custom window & Door shop in the warehouse, they moved me into the Shop half way through summer. The remaining summers I worked for a general contractor where I got a good background in doing many different things. |
