  Sheepshead Bay's 19th annual BAYFEST to take place Sunday, May 16th, 2010 from 12 to 6 P.M.

The Bay Improvement Group (BIG) is excited to be planning the 19th annual BAYFEST, New York's only vendor-free festival celebrating the ambiance, tradition, and character of Brooklyn’s unique waterfront community of Sheepshead Bay.  This year's BAYFEST will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2010 from noon to 6 P.M.

Won’t you join us this year as a BAYFEST 2010 sponsor?

Your company’s advertising message will reach the more than 100,000 people who will attend BAYFEST and see your advertising message in Newsday’s Marketeer.  That’s favorable publicity and BIG exposure for your company at minimal cost.  As a sales promotion tool, BAYFEST has no equal on this scale.

BAYFEST brings together people from the greater New York City area to enjoy an afternoon of FREE entertainment on a main stage with top musical acts and performers.  This year, BIG is working on a larger budget to bring even more music, talent, and attractions to help spotlight our famous Brooklyn waterfront. Games and amusements for kids, exhibits by the New York Aquarium, FDNY fireboat demonstrations, and more are also in the works.

BIG is a non-for-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt community coalition, and all BIG workers are non-paid volunteers.  We depend on sponsors like you to cover the increasing minimal costs of entertainment, equipment, and promotional expenses.  Please see the attached for more detailed information about BAYFEST 2010 and sponsorship packages.

There is only a limited amount of space, so sign up today.

Preserve the essence of a great New York attraction: the Sheepshead Bay Waterfront. Make all of your present and future customers aware of your product, service, and community dedication.

We look forward to your joining us in this most original, dynamic and memorable event!

                                                            Sincerely,

                                                                        STEVEN M. BARRISON

                                                                        President, Bay Improvement Group
