BayFest is Brooklyn's largest waterfront event and NYC's only vendor-free street fair.
Now in our 21st year and always completely free, BayFest is an all-day, nonstop celebration
of Sheepshead Bay, a unique maritime community in South Brooklyn.
Held along ten piers on Emmons Avenue from Ocean Avenue to East 27th Street,
BayFest offers a festival of continuous music and fun that brings the community
together and raises New Yorkers' awareness of this treasure by the bay.

Getting to BayFest
 BUS: B44 bus south to the second to last stop. Walk south one block and make a right onto Emmons Avenue. BayFest starts at Ocean Avenue and continues to East 27th Street (main stage). SUBWAY: Q train toward Stillwell Avenue. Exit at Sheepshead Bay station. Walk to Emmons Avenue and East 27th Street (15 min). CAR: Belt Parkway to Exit 9A or B (Knapp Street). Drive south, toward the bay, to the end of Knapp Street. (If you pass the Knapp Street Deli on your right, you are going the wrong way!)
