ABOUT US
Disclaimer: First, our objective is not to offer
conflicting information. We are primarily an education center that hopes to
supply those who inquire, with personal assistance if needed, about
the inner working of many different religious academic areas of study, such as:
hermeneutics, exegesis, Bible translation philosophies, Biblical Hebrew and
Greek, linguistics and semantics and aspect, textual criticism, Bible
backgrounds theology and so on. It is the sincere intent of the owners of this site to offer objectivity to the discernment and application of facts discovered through research in the above areas of study. We are convinced that proper education and application of the Scriptures offers a real hope for those who invest time to dig deeper into the teachings of God's Word. We are here to
offer a vehicle for transport to the next levels of study in various areas of interest.
As a person's study progresses, one begins to realize that there are now
28,340 religious groups that call themselves "Christian", each promoting variegated doctrines under the umbrella of "Christendom". "Different roads?" Well, the Bible does not allow for the different road scenario.
Unity in Belief (1 Co
1:10): While any Church among a denomination may choose from what may be called "the Theology Tree of Christendom"; and in turn, each member of any Church within that denomination also are free to
pick from this Theology Tree anything that may differ from their Church affiliation, the result is disunity among the members of that denomination and Church. Compounding this, members may now go to other theology trees, as well, adding to the convolution and confusion of doctrine. This is the type of "free" behavior that has caused schisms
and divisions (over 28,000 worth). Sadly, many Church members are unaware of the teachings hanging on the Theology Tree, nor aware of the roots upon which the tree is braced. In other words they are relating their doctrinal beliefs as they understand them, not as they are officially held by the organization with which they are affiliated. If asked to show from the Scriptures the basis of their understanding, most cannot. To these many, it may matter little what Church they attend. This situation, though is not new.
Within
a few decades of the death of the apostles, schisms were already evident among
the Christians. Will Durant states: “Celsus [second-century opponent of
Christianity] himself had sarcastically observed that Christians were ‘split up
into ever so many factions, each individual desiring to have his own party.’
About 187 [C.E.] Irenaeus listed twenty varieties of Christianity; about 384
[C.E.] Epiphanius counted eighty.”—The Story of Civilization:
PartIII—Caesar and Christ.
To the Ephesians Paul wrote "One body there is, and one spirit, even as you were called in the one hope to which you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all [persons], who is over all and through all and in all...." (Eph. 4:4-6) Does the plethora of variegated claimants to being Christ's followers today demonstrate to our minds the thought of Ephesians 4:4-6? Too, Paul wrote: "Now I exhort you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that you should all speak in agreement, and that there should not be divisions among you, but that you may be fitly united in the same mind and in the same line of thought." (1Co 1:10) Does this sound to you that Paul would be happy to see the "splits" and "factions" we see today?

While we view educating oneself in the history and the processes of translating God's Word as being important in this day
and age; it is secondary to our obligation to the Christian Ministry, teaching the Bible's message to mankind. Thus, we offer free Bible studies by email for

pages throughout this site will offer a free Bible study by email. It
will be done discreetly with a simple email link that you can click on

persons of all religions, and to those who are a part of no religion, who

"Those doing the will of [his] Father who is in the heavens will." (Matt 7:21) Moreover the Apostle John tells us that 'the world is passing away,' but "he that does the will of God remains forever." 1 John 2:17.

How do
you know that Jesus rose from the dead? If God is both loving and all-powerful,
why is there so much suffering and evil? Has science and evolution not shown
that the Bible is nothing more than a book of legends and myths? Is the Bible is
full of contradictions and errors? Each day there are many questions that confront the
Christian’s faith as he gives reasons for it to both friend and foe. Moreover, one would be in denial not to recognize the fact
that a continuous bombardment of questions given by others to tear down
our faith; or by their that lack faith, will eventually affect our faith if we
do not follow the sound advice found in the Bible. For Example:
The
apostle Paul certainly had every reason to exhort those in the Corinthian congregation to understand
that each Christian has the obligation to defend the good news of Christ. He
wrote: "Since the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but are powerful
through God for the demolition of strongholds. We demolish arguments and
every high-minded thing that is raised up against the knowledge of God, taking
every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.” – 2 Corinthians 10:4-5.
The
apostle Peter offers a similar command: “but set apart the Messiah as Lord in
your hearts, and always
be ready to give a defense [απολογιαν, apologia, to which we get apologetic] to anyone who asks you for a reason
for the hope that is in you." – 1 Peter 3:15.
The
Apostle Paul also exhorted: “Your speech should always be gracious, seasoned with salt,
so that you may know
how you should answer each person.” - Colossians 4:6.
We also benefit from Paul’s
sound advice to his young traveling companion, Timothy, to wit: "Take pains with these
things; be absorbed in them, so that
your progress will be evident to all. Pay close attention to yourself and to
your teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will ensure
salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you." – 1 Timothy 4:15-16.
Jesus'
half brother Jude also commands us to defend the faith: "Beloved,
although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I
found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints." - Jude 3.
Defending
God’s Word is a task that involves persuading persons there is solid
basis for faith in it. It is the solemn intent of Christians,
therefore, to demolish arguments that are strongly entrenched in
opposition to the Bible by the general public. Thus, Christians need to
be well-equipped to defend and establish the good news, while at the
same time proffering an answer with
reason and graciousness, so as to bring as many as possible over to
Christ. This site is meant to
help Christians to do just that.

Textual Criticism
Textual criticism is the scholarly investigation of
Bible manuscripts, their origin, preservation and relative value in
relationship to the originals, which are no longer available. Textual
criticism has done much to further Bible scholarship, pruning out
interpolations and producing reliable master texts that provide the

Study of language: the
systematic study of language. "The science that attempts to understand
language from the point of view of its 'inner workings' - what
linguistics call internal structure." - David A. Black
Bible Backgrounds: Customs, culture and manners of the Bible.
Biblical Archaeology: "Biblical
archaeology is the study of the peoples and events of the Bible through
the intriguing record buried in the earth. The archaeologist digs up
and analyzes rock, ruined walls and buildings, and shattered cities as
well as uncovers pottery, clay tablets, written inscriptions, tombs,
and other ancient remains, or artifacts, from which he gleans
information. Such studies often improve understanding of the
circumstances under which the Bible was written and under which ancient
men of faith lived, as well as the languages they, and the peoples
around them, employed. They have expanded our knowledge of all the
regions touched by the Bible: Palestine, Egypt, Persia, Assyria,
Babylonia, Asia Minor, Greece, and Rome." - it 1 p. 147 Archaeology.
