Microsoft's new browser incompatible with district remote email system
So if your computer now has Internet Explorer 8, you will not be able to use it to retrieve and send email using Outlook WebAccess. One solution is to uninstall that browser in Add/Remove Programs, reverting to Internet Explorer 7. A different workaround is to download and install an alternate browser, such as Firefox or Chrome. They are compatible with our remote email system. However, please note that those browsers are NOT allowed on in-district computers, only on your own personal computers. |
