Bartlesville High School serves over 900 juniors and seniors in our growing and progressive city of 35,000 located about an hour’s drive north of Tulsa. Our city is the headquarters of ConocoPhillips Shared Services, the ConocoPhillips Technology Center, and various small industries and offers outstanding amenities and support for local science education. Please visit http://www.bartlesville.com for information on our city. We will be hiring someone to teach Chemistry in the Community at our school in 2009-2010. The course uses a curriculum developed by the American Chemical Society, and more information is online. The course will be taught in our state-of-the-art $2.5 million science facility built in 2003. You will have your own dedicated classroom and laboratory space of over 1500 square feet. The lecture area has a mounted LCD projector with DVD/VCR/computer hookup while the lab area has large sinks, fume hood, and lab tables. You will have your own attached private office. We are especially interested in teachers who are able and willing to teach physics along with chemistry. Interested parties are welcome to contact Teri Brant, Bartlesville High School Principal, at branttl@bps-ok.org or district science chair Granger Meador at gmeador@bps-ok.org Applications can be made online at: http://www.bps-ok.org/employment/ |
