2012 Line Up

Georgy-Alabam presents two great square dance callers --  Bob Dalsemer and Scott Russell calling southern squares and big sets -- and music by two hard driving old time bands from Alabama--Red Mountain and The Yahoos.

We’ll dance in the historic 1930s ballroom at the Bald Rock Lodge, in Cheaha State Park (the highest point in Alabama), 25 miles south of Anniston, Alabama.

Tuition : $80 per person.

Registration:

Print the 2012 Registration Form, fill it out and mail it with your check to the address shown on the form.  We have limited registration to the first lucky 80.  Please note that we have an option at the bottom of the registration form if you have an interest in sharing a room and/or a ride with someone else.

Lodging:

You will be responsible for choosing and paying for your own lodging.  We have a block of rooms reserved until December 1st.  After that we can no longer guarantee you a room as the park will make these rooms available to the general public.

The State Park offers motel rooms, cabins, chalets and campsites.  Reserve your lodging under group number 1176 (the Georgy-Alabam square dance group). You can make reservations at www.alapark.com/cheaharesort.

For folks on a tight budget:  For $20 you can reserve floor space and showers in the lodge for the weekend when you send in your registration form.
