Livingstone Volunteer Bushfire Brigade put on its usual excellent Christmas do last night with a good attendance despite the wet conditions. Santa made his jolly appearance, much to the delight of the many kids - and a lot of the big ones, too. Later in the evening there was an "awards" ceremony officiated by BFNT's Christine Corney. I don't yet have the full list of awards and recipients, but a couple that stand out were: Captain of the Year Peter Arrowsmith of Berry Springs Citizen of the Year Ray Nicholls of Cox Peninsula I will try to get a more comprehensive list and some of the photos that were taken and post them on the Livingstone page. |
