The 2010 Bushfires NT training season is now in full swing with FF1-NT courses held so far in Katherine, Berry Springs and Tipperary Station. BWA courses have been held on the Tiwi Islands and are programmed for several other locations. Other courses planned for this year include the new FF2-NT, Frontline Leadership and AIIMS. The website has yet to receive a program for publication, but it will be posted when and if it is made available. Rumour has it that when the FF1-NT training backlog is up to date that this will become a compulsory minimum requirement for all bushfire fighters, regardless how long you may have been going to fire grounds.
