About

Beyond The Machine is an experiential training and community gathering for young adults interested in a new way of conscious living.  It will change the way you experience your life!

Through a series of individual and group exercises, Beyond The Machine invites participants, or Adventurists, to examine how they wish to live a life of consciousness, emotional awareness, community leadership, and deep truth.  It is a weekend packed with self-realization, healing, mentorship, and celebration.

Young adults often are faced with the challenge of defining their place in the world and how to manifest their dreams.  This program helps participants create a meaningful individual identity with the goal of contributing to the greater community.  The training serves as an opportunity for challenge and adventure with the goal being self-realization.  The gathering allows the Adventurists to meet other socially engaged young adults, friends, mentors, elders.  The training is designed and facilitated by other young adults with the support older mentors and elders.

Each Adventurist has the choice as to how they wish to engage the experiential processes and meditations offered to them.  It is a “choose your own adventure” with the goal of becoming more fully who you dream to be.

Adventurists can expect to ask themselves in the deepest way, “Who am I, really?”

Who can come?  Any young adult, 18-35, interested in radically examining their life.

What type of activities take place?  The program consists of: deep questions about who we each believe ourselves to be, progressive conversation, time in nature, guided imagery, the development of a personal mission statement, examining the impact of the past on identity, mentorship, meditation, yoga, fire ceremonies, and late-night celebrations

How much does it cost?  The tuition is $300 per person, plus Room and Board.  Beyond The Machine is committed to offering its training and gathering to those that cannot afford to pay their way.  If you would like to know about scholarship, trade, payment plans, service projects, or other alternative forms of exchange, please contact Luke at luke@lukeentrup.com
