About this Site Bev's Educational Website accompanies the latest book by Beverley Crane, entitled Using Web 2.0 Tools in the K-12 Classroom. This series of books--Teaching with the Internet and Internet Workshops--provides practical information about using the Internet in the K-12 curriculum. It is designed to aid educators--specifically librarians and teachers--and present ideas, tips and tricks, new technologies, and exercises that will enable K-12 educators to enhance their instruction and facilitate learning for K-12 students.
The new book is chock full of descriptions of Web 2.0 tools, how to get started using them, and practical lessons and unit plans that illustrate strategies in literature, writing, history, social studies, science and English as a Second Language instruction.
The website will keep you up to date with new innovations, practical examples you can use as models for your own instruction, and suggestions so that you are able to familiarize yourselves with Web 2.0 tools in my book and new technologies that will appear in the future.
