From my estate sale find this past weekend -- I thought this old plastic ice bag was a gem which people were trampling over in the garage to get to "the good stuff". This is from the old Hot Stop! convenience store chain. Do convenience stores even brand their own ice these days? Probably not. I don't believe that Hot Stops are around anymore, at least not around here. They were part of the National Convenience Stores, Inc. company who owned Stop-N-Go, Hot Stop, PDQ, Super Duper, Super Quik and Shop-N-Go convenience stores. I used to go to Stop-N-Go when I was a kid. Based on the information I've found, this is from the 1980s, definitely no earlier than 1979. This was a pretty random item for someone to have saved, but I'm glad they did. The old Hot Stop logo is pretty cool.

Just a regular bag for leaving my house ;)... err minus the bag. It is a plain black tote bag.
