The Byron Museum of History is actively seeking volunteers to assist with a variety of museum projects before, during, and after Between Fences.

We have many exciting programs coming up such as a Mystery Fence Scavenger Hunt and a Photo and Art Contest.

We are also looking for docents or museum guides to help out with school and tour groups during the run of Between Fences.

The museum is also revamping its Old Time Farming exhibit to coincide with the opening of Between Fences. This exhibit showcases what farming was like in the late 1800s and early 1900s. More than 50 artifacts make up this collection. We need assistance with object research, creating storyboards, object labels, and installing the exhibit before the opening of Between Fences.

If anyone has any questions or is interested in potentially volunteering for one of these projects please email kira@byronmuseum.com or call 815.234.5031.
