 The mission of the Media Center is to offer
a student-centered classroom to prepare twenty-first century learners
to access, evaluate, and synthesize information in creative,
meaningful, relevant ways and develop a life-long love of reading and
learning.
Media Center Vision and Goals · The media staff will collaboratively plan and teach with grade level teachers to seamlessly integrate information literacy skills into content learning. · The media program will support the learning of all students including those with diverse learning abilities, styles, and needs. · The media program will promote the use of technology for learning and teaching. · The media program will link to the larger learning community. · The media staff will support teachers and students in their achievement of curricular goals. · The media program will provide access to materials that support a wide range of student backgrounds, needs, abilities, and interests. |
