Even in a community such as Manassas people experience hunger.  You can help make sure everyone has enough to eat by attending Empty Bowls on Friday, October 24 from 4-8 p.m.  Guests purchase a handmade pottery bowl and then enjoy a simple meal of pasta or soup, and other delicious food donated by area restaurants.   All proceeds benefit S.E.R.V.E.   The event will be held at The Rock, 8730 Sudley Road, located next to Manassas Baptist Church (formerly Marstellar Middle School).  Price is $15 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under.
