This Week in History

On 21st May, 1881, Clara Barton and Adolphus Solomons founded the American National Red Cross, an organization established to provide humanitarian aid to victims of wars and natural disasters.

On 22nd May, 1843, a massive wagon train set off on the Oregon Trail from Independence, Missouri.
