BETHEL NJROTC BOOSTER CLUB
2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR Welcome to another wonderful year!! The Booster Club meets the first Tuesday of every month At 7:00pm in the ROTC Room. We encourage parents to get involved in the many different activities. The committee members can be reached at bethelnjrotcboosters@gmail.com President: Roxie Milositz Vice President: Janet Denny Treasurer: Clarene DeRosier Admin Officer: Diane Correnty Each year we contact our friends and neighbors and pick up and recycle their trees for a small donation. Last year we made over 3K! Parents can drive and help pick up or provide some warm food for the cadets.
NS2 cadets have a sailing trip on Long Island Sound on a Schooner.
Other examples of the support and fund raising contributions by this booster club are NS3 Cadets learn Aviation and NS4
Cadets learn Navigation. These are wonderful experiences and opportunities.
Parents can help assist cadets putting up flags downtown or removing later in the year for our town parades and festivities. Help keep Bethel beautiful and patriotic!
We provide support if needed to our young ladies in their Lady Leadership program which is a wonderful character building program.
We also support many community service programs.
Duracell and GE have used our cadets to help with their summer picnics and holiday parties at places Lake Compounce and their corporate venues. Parents help by chaperoning or driving cadets, and organizing. More great fundraisers for our program!
We celebrate awards night at the end of each year, recognizing the accomplishments of our cadets. We host our own drill meet and attend many others.
We host a military ball like no other!
We attend Basic Leadership Training in the fall!
