Bethany Baptist Church of Hahira is a full contemporary worship church dedicated to impacting our world for Jesus Christ. Just as Christ sought to reach those around Him by teaching on their level, we feel we are called to preach to and reach the generation at hand. We seek to influence families who have children and youth living at home so we can minister to the family as a whole. We utilize sound biblical preaching, contemporary worship, bible studies, effective youth and children’s ministries, UPWARD Sports programming, men’s and women’s groups, and many other ministries to be about our Father’s business. We also have a thriving senior’s ministry that is very active. “The Bridge”, Our Family Life Center, was built with the specific intent to be used as a bridge to share the love of Christ with our surrounding community. “The Bridge” is currently used by several community organizations and is also the home of our UPWARD Sports ministry.

Bethany Baptist Church's goals are:
(1) Equipping the Believer - Equipping the saints unto the work of the ministry in all its aspects along with their spiritual maturity in the Lord (Col.1:28-29; Eph.4:11; Matt.28:19-20); and (2) Evangelization of the Lost - Reaching the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ, both at home and abroad, is to be one of the goals of this church (Acts 1:8; Matt.28:19-20; Rom.1:14-16; 1 Thess.1:8).
