Labbie tools.
Fall is coming. I got the last of the lab student tools for the upcoming semester. Now to bundle them. They get one of each for their lab fee. Each of the Intro shop classes gives them a basic tool set applicable to that area. By the end, they have a nice collection for their tool kits at home (or, more likely, their kitchen drawer). It's surprising how many of the kids DON'T take their tools home at the end of the semester, even though they paid for them in their fees (over 50%).
Working under the beetle.
It is much harder than I thought trying to set up a self timed shot under a car, with the camera just out of reach. All the while, changing the oxygen sensor. You can see the flashlight off to the left, I have it bouncing off the undercarriage to get the light just right. There was very little room under There. I think I picked the coldest day in Seattle to work on the Beetle. I love having a carpeted garage.
