Help save our furry friend Dear Jellycat Toys, Sir Bernard, our beloved two month old Bunglie Ginger Cat, appears to have suffered a hernia. The beads in his tummy have migrated into his bottom area. We believe it is causing him a great deal of distress. Unfortunately our anatomical knowledge of Bunglie Cats is rather poor thus we are seeking expert advice as to whether to proceed to surgery. As we see it, we have three options, two of which could result in the death of Sir Bernard. We could drain Sir Bernard of his beads; a minor operation that we imagine can be performed through an incision to his buttocks followed by sewing the wound back up. Or we could we perform major exploratory surgery in a blind attempt to reposition his internal organs. The third option, while carrying no risk of death will seriously impair his quality of life, is early retirement. Where he would enjoy his remaining days from the comfort of a shelf. Whilst most cats would relish this opportunity we believe at two months old, he is perhaps a little too young for the life of leisure. Indeed Sir Bernard has expressed his own wishes to remain on bed-time-cuddle-and-general-loving duty. We hope you can provide us with some expert advice that will lead to Sir Bernard enjoying the remainder of his 9 lives with us. The whole situation is concerning for all of us, as is evident from the photo attached. We are all worried for his future! Yours anxiously, James and Chloe Beach Marmalade
