so i found this baby at Our Lady of Light Thrift Store. I have been looking for one all day going to like 5 to 6 different thrift stores looking for it. my last hope was OLOL which i saw after i lost all hope of finding a polaroid driving down old US41. i went to the desk waiting to be disappointed while i asked the lady if she had any polaroids, I stopped mid-sentence and guess what was staring at me wanting me to take it home..... MY NEW TOY! what a steal i got it for 3 bucks! tax included. after i was robbed at staples with their terribly high price for the film for this baby, i think i like it better as a prop then a camera, but im learning as i go and so far im a little disappointed but i have lots of ideas with this baby, hopefully i'll get back to taking more pictures. i increased the temperature in Adobe Bridge before cropping this photo in Adobe Photoshop. I wanted to give it a more antique-polaroid look. Exposure: 0.8 Aperture: f/5.6 Focal Length: 45 mm ISO was at 400 but there is noise due to post-editing.

Displaying two of the three new toys I am playing with lately. My new Krzr - its so slick, cool, and when I got my new number, totally made me realise I'm here for good !! Yay !! Funny thing, was when i went to shoot this, I got a message - fun timing !!! (id say, look - i have friends!!) but this was from my guy! sigh.. it still counts!! the other toy is the notebook its resting on, and of which i am currently tapping away on right now... yay for notebooks. they rock. really. they do. the last toy ive been playing with is the camera that this was taken on... alot of my pics are going to change slightly while i get used to it... its fun, but frustrating. i cant take pics the same as i used to. i have to really think about this .. for a while anyway.. until it becomes second nature .... so.. apologisies in advace for the crapola pics that might come to view. its a learning process. be nice.
