Glastonbury Tor, frost & fog at dawn
Yesterday morning I went up to Deerleap on the Mendip Hills above Wookey Hole before sunrise. There was a hard frost and layers of fog on the Somerset Levels 600 feet below. In this shot the well known landmark of Glastonbury Tor can be seen poking its head above the fog top right. You'll need the large version!!! A break in the fog layer revealed a landscape of frosted fields closer to the foot of the Mendips. Yes, my feet were frozen! SOOC, very slight crop.

The view south from the top of the Mendip Hills across the Somerset Levels towards Glastonbury Tor. I've marked the location where the photo was taken from on the map.
