Bottom detail of my DIY Mariotte Siphon
This photo shows the bottom detail of my homemade Mariotte Siphon for my water drop photos. The bottom of the siphon has the computer controlled solenoid valve connected to the PVC pipe adapter with a 1/4" pipe thread fitting. Below the valve nozzle is the optical interrupter that detects the passage of a drop and starts the computer timing for the impact of the drop in the tray below. The cool solenoid valves
Used to control the areas of irrigation. We have a rain gauge and will have the system fully automated from the rain water tank.
