Not proud of it, but this is just another silly attempt to copy one of Eric Wiegardt's excellent pieces from his endlessly inspirational book "Watercolour Free & Easy" (which is not easy at all, in my opinion). I did several copies recently (I am not going to post them all, this is just a proof that I paint... at least something), because every attempt to paint my own subject ends up with a huge failure. So I think these copies would be a great way to get on track... somehow... Used just few colours, indigo, phthalo turquoise, new gamboge, scarlet lake and winsor orange I think. And once again a copy. But I would say it is my interpretation rather than just a copy, because I did one copy and then I experimented with this (second) piece a little bit, changed the primary triad and put a bit of my own personality in it through my own, more expressive, brushwork. Very happy with the result, think it could be my best one so far despite the fact that the subject is not mine.
