this is something fun to do. All you need is a bottle of russian vodka such as Stolichnaya , a Diamond Valley newspaper (Greensboroughs local paper).and your own long fingernails. This manicure which possibly originates in the USA is on the internet. I dipped the bit of newspaper (cut vaguely to my nails size) in a bowl of vodka then placed on nail, stick masking tape on top & around finger a bit so it will not move and then rub firmly with the round part of a spoon or manicure scissors & voila You need to paint your nails first. I used Orly nail polish. . The nail polish must be dry. You will need a clear topcoat otherwise the writing will rub off. It is Sept 16. It is not easy to get it perfect

Picture taken of our armory in the manicure dept. Tried to keep it glossy/shiny. I've chosen to take my 365's with my iPhone for (a) the ease of being able to take the picture and upload it almost straight away (unlike with the dSLR) and (b) to go back to a fixed lens as an additional challenge. Have to say that the more I go, the more I wish I could get in even closer- macro. Maybe someone'll make an accessory one day??? I'm still enjoying the challenge though...
