Mario & Luigi
Mario & Luigi
Who doesn't know these two brothers! I grew up with the NES system and my first game of duck hunt and mario bros. I still have it and play every now and then. These are 2 collection miniatures in a soft box like environment (grey paper) with natural lighting from outside (window). Taken with a tripod. In CS5 cut out the figures and made a black background for them. ========================================================= Mario (??? Mario?) is a fictional character in his eponymous video game series, created by Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto. Serving as Nintendo's mascot and the main protagonist of the series, Mario has appeared in over 200 video games since his creation. Mario is depicted as a short, pudgy, Italian-American plumber who lives in the Mushroom Kingdom. He repeatedly stops the turtle-like villain Bowser's numerous plans to kidnap Princess Peach and subjugate the Mushroom Kingdom. He has other enemies and rivals, including Donkey Kong and Wario. Luigi (???? Ruiji?) is a fictional character, featured in video games and related media released by Nintendo. Created by prominent game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, Luigi is portrayed as the slightly younger fraternal twin brother of Nintendo's mascot Mario, and appears in many games throughout the Mario series, frequently as a sidekick or deuteragonist to his brother. Luigi first appeared in the 1983 arcade game Mario Bros. as the character controlled by the second player, and retained this role in Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, and other titles. The first game where he was available as a primary character was Super Mario Bros. 2. In more recent appearances, Luigi's role became increasingly restricted to spinoffs such as the Mario Party and Mario Kart series, though he has been featured in a starring role on two occasions: first in the 1991 educational game Mario is Missing and later in Luigi's Mansion for the Gamecube in 2001. In both of these games, he is called upon to act as the hero because Mario, the usual hero within the franchise, is in need of rescue. Originally developed as a palette swap of Mario with a green color scheme instead of red, Luigi has since developed a personality and style of his own. As his role in the Mario series progressed, Luigi evolved into a physically distinct character, taller and slightly thinner than his brother. Although as kindhearted as Mario, Luigi is portrayed as timid and sometimes cowardly, especially in the presence of ghosts or when forced to do tasks that are seemingly impossible for him to accomplish. ==========================================================
My hot beverage of choice at Starbucks.
My hot beverage of choice at Starbucks.
I like going to Starbucks, but I don't actually drink coffee because... erm... something about coffee irritates... umm... the "plumbing" down there when... ahh... it comes out the other end. But I love Starbucks hot chocolate, especially how they put the whipped cream on top, and then squirt some chocolate sauce on top of that. I wish my local portion of Merivale Road in Nepean would get a Starbucks... that's one thing that's sorely missing between Viewmount and Baseline.
