We had some fog a few weeks back, fog is so much fun to shoot, but the problem is finding the right spot as you never really know when or where you might get the fog. Fun ;) Anyway this was taken on a work day morning, and I happened to be on leave that day, and I also had my camera... well as you all know my camera is my 2nd wife ;) Enjoy. - Canon 50D. - ISO 100, f6.3, 1/550, (opps not sure why I dropped my f stop). - Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L lens. The definitions of moody from Dictionary.com are. 1. given to gloomy, depressed, or sullen moods; ill-humored. 2. proceeding from or showing such a mood: a moody silence. 3. expressing or exhibiting sharply varying moods; temperamental. This can be taken many ways, from a photo of a moody person, to a photo of a moody sky. WIT THOUGHT, lots and lots of THOUGHT.... So, I wanted DARK after seeing a photo of K8's. I pulled out the 50mm f1.8 little plastic lens. It was night, ok,,,, good for dark. But the dang lens would not focus and neither could I on the big frog setting in the cats food dish outside. OK thats done... So I turned on the porch light, and started looking. This Rubber tree is next to the front patio (yes it was one of those small house warming plants that ended up growing higher than the second story of the house). I have a few of these ceramic bird houses hanging in the tree, so I got up on the pillars and framed one of them. Was lucky it had rained earlier (when hasnt it rained in Florida every day for months), Shot RAW, converted to TIF in DPP, then put through Noiseware as its shot at f1.8 and 3200 ISO at 1/60th of a second. I liked the yellow light, the warm mood, the dark, the water drops. (tried to get the cats to work with my, tired some birds with atitudes that I may post in out takes, but this one worked best for the Dark Inspiration K8 gave me,, Thanks K8).
