Implied Line
Go Bomers! Another set of statues, right in front of the LaSalle Hotel on Main, are of a Bryan Bomer & two small children. The Bomers were Bryan's one-and-only sports franchise. Formed in 1947 as a part of the new Lone Star League, a Class-C circuit with eight teams, the Bomers eight year run was less than desirable. Though the teams did not succeed in several Texas leagues, they were still a proud part of Bryn's history. I love sports so this was the perfect opportunity for me to photograph & learn more of Bryan's sports history. The view point of this photo is from the ball player looking down on the boy as he looks at the bat. Though you do not see the player himself, the implied line of the boys eyes to the bat are obvious.
