The wine we had for lunch was home-made in the back of the taverna. (In fact, we could smell they were fermenting this year's vintage!) The interesting thing is that the wine was served in these copper mugs instead of glass carafes. Unfortunately, the wine was made with botryized grapes, so it was not so pleasant. I was afraid to try other Greek wines after this one, but I did. Fortunately, most of the others were not like this.
