Hello my name is Jo Peters.

I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse and Professional Dog Groomer and love all my animals, especially my dogs!

I fell in love with Bernese Mountain Dogs 11 years ago when Rajah bounded into our lives, literally!

My kennel name is Bernalese: we (my mother Lyn and I) are situated in the heart of the Waikato region, famous for Dairy Cows and world class thoroughbred stud farms.

Our dogs are family members first and foremost, the welfare of our dogs come first, our dogs do not spend their lives in a kennel. I am involved in breed showing with good results - see Sultan and his profile page, obedience and carting. Very rarely do we breed a litter - only one litter in 11 years but hoping that will change next year - see Puppy Plans.
