For new-comers we offer an introduction to Zen practice. Even if you have practiced Zen somewhere else we recommend these introductory evenings so that you can become familiar with the style of our tradition.
If you are unable to come to an introduction (because, for example, you don’t live in Berlin), you can begin your Zazen practice by following the detailed instructions laid out in The Three Pillars of Zen by Roshi Philip Kapleau.
How do I continue? After an introductory session you are welcome to participate in the regular activities of our group. We have Zazen and Chanting every monday evening, Zazenkai (all-day-sitting) and Sesshin (one-week intensive retreat).
