| THE STORY “I challenge you, holy man.”
Combative New York talk radio personality, Rex Pentheus, exploits a sensational theme as he rants against the growing sect of the Catholic Church ordaining women as priests. When an on-air argument with his mother leads to her stealing his car and driving to Iowa to join the rogue sect, Rex discovers he’s mysteriously connected to the leader of the cult. He represses his doubts, denying his legacy and frail existence. It is a battle of the sacred and the profane, the holy and the dirty. As Rex desperately fights to hold his life together he discovers he can't trust anyone or anything - even his faith.
"Dirty Twin" is a clash of Biblical and pagan themes inspired by Euripides' The Bacchae and passages from the King James Bible. "Dirty Twin" uses the nature of God as the thematic springboard to the daring story of one man's refusal to change.
