Day 49, Year 3 Tough day today. Right after getting to work this morning (at about 9:20) I realised I'd failed to copy my lecture onto my MacBook Air. I use ChronoSync to automatically synchronise files across my machines and I hadn't got around to setting up the sync file for this unit's folder. Argh! I dashed home and back and ended up 5 minutes late for my lecture. Then the theatre AV equipment wouldn't accept the signal from my laptop. Called AV Services. "Known problem!" Argh! They uploaded a fix. Didn’t work. Converted Keynote file to PowerPoint and copied to lectern computer to start class (15 minutes late now). PowerPoint has ruined my animations, lost some of my text, and won't display some images. Argh! Carry on regardless. Phew, survived. Students understanding and the lecture went alright in the end. Exhausted. I opened a fortune cookie at lunch to read this appropriate message, "A thing long expected takes the form of the unexpected when at last it comes." Ha! And now I've got a cold. Mum's chemotherapy has been giving her a lot of pain. Shay had a rough day too. Then we watched ICU on TV. People with brain injuries, cancer and ruptured spleens. On reflection my day was easy!

Commerce and Bussines. Product labels, their instructions, manuals, warranty certificates as well as restaurant menus and wine lists must be in the official language (French).
