Membership Update 9-7-2011
As of today we have around 30 members! Our goal this year is to reach 150 members. Last year we had just over 90. Remember ANYBODY over 18 can join the PTA! So be sure to ask grandparents, friends, co-workers & aunt's & uncles to join our PTA!
A letter from Bellwood's PTA President:
The PTA has a lot of fun things planned for our families
and we are really excited to get this year underway!
In the past Bellwood’s PTA has either completely funded or helped to fund some
very important programs for our school such as popsicles for the children during field day,
breakfast and lunch for the staff during staff appreciation week and
pizza for the All-Star program.
Over the past several years as part of a larger project the PTA has purchased
classroom books for grades five through one. I am very excited to be able to say that we
will complete that project this year by purchasing the books for kindergarten.
In addition to that we will be contributing funds for the fabulous artwork that Mrs. Rudd has commissioned for the cafeteria.
All of the programs we support and the events we have planned cannot happen without your
support, that’s why it’s important to become a member of the PTA.
Be on the look out for membership envelopes and remember anyone can join so be sure to
ask grandparents, aunts and uncles, co-workers and friends to become a member to support
our children and community.
