Thanks to weatherbug, we have a new weather station near us and we will no longer have our own station because of safety reasons with me getting on the roof to do maintenance on it, so for now on, we are using Valley Christian High School weather station. It's so nice to share our weather information on the Internet for people in city of Bellflower and around the world. We are also weather spotters members for the National Weather Service Oxnard, CA. We took a training class on Nov. 4, 2002 . What we do is, if any strong winds or any threatening type of storm happens, we will call the National Weather Service and they will put up a watch or warning for flash floods or strong winds, dense fog and heavy rain.
