Bellaire Cardinal Volleyball prepping for 2012 season NOW!
Head Volleyball Coach Ap Clarke has said that she has had several emails from and conversations with parents, players, middle school coaches, and others interested in knowing when "things will get started" for next year's Bellaire Cardinal Volleyball teams. The correct answer is RIGHT NOW!
There are several volleyball-related events on the calendars starting in May and extending all the way to the post-season play in November. Please see the agenda/calendar shown below for the upcoming events and click on any one of them to find out more details. Additional details (need for physicals, insurance, team expectations, etc.) from Coach Clarke regarding the Bellaire Cardinal Volleyball program can be found in her annual volleyball document/guide found at this link.

- HELP REQUEST - NOW - The jump boxes, used for volleyball training on a daily basis, are in desperate need of repair. Please contact Coach Clarke at gclarke@houstonisd.org if you can help out with these repairs. Fixing them now should reduce the workload for the annual volleyball workday at the end of the summer.
- HELP REQUEST - NOW - Assist with repairs of the closet door in the volleyball locker room. A lot of equipment is kept there so please let Coach Clarke (gclarke@houstonisd.org) know if you can help out with this work.
- 2012-05-19 - Anyone needing a low-cost pre-participation extracurricular physical can go to Reliant Stadium where these are being offered by Methodist Hospital for only $15.00. Click on the agenda item in the calendar below for more details or contact Coach Clarke at gclarke@houstonisd.org.
- 2012-06-11 - Open gyms begin. Open gym will be held every Monday and Wednesday evening from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm (through 2012-08-01) for all incoming freshman and Bellaire High School players. This is a great way to see the other players in action and improve volleyball skills in preparation for team tryouts in August.
- 2012-07-27 and 2012-07-28 - Incoming Freshman Volleyball Camp will be held at Bellaire High School to introduce the incoming players to the coaches through intense training in the Bellaire Volleyball way. - 2012-08-06 - Team tryouts for all teams will be held with team selections announced at the end of the tryout day. This is the day you are preparing for if you want to be part of the winning volleyball team tradition at Bellaire High School.
