Welcome to the Belgian Physical Society - BPS - website!

As a national physical society, and member of the European Physical Society, our goal is to promote physics and support physicists. For this purpose, we organise a range of activities and membership benefits. On these pages you will find information about membership, and about the BPS general meeting which took place in Utrecht. Also archived issued of B-Phy, our electronic magazine, can be downloaded, and there is a job section for those of you seeking employment.

On May 30, the general scientific meeting 2012 of the Belgian Physical Society will take place in Brussels at the VUB, in the usual format: plenary talks in the morning, followed by the young speaker contest, and in the afternoon the poster session and the parallel sessions. We will again award best poster prizes, and the winners of the best master thesis will be announced. We look forward to meeting you in Brussels!
