According to Dr. Alexander Beider's reference book "A Dictionary of Jewish Surnames from the Russian Empire" the BINENBAUM (Bienenbaum) Surname when translated from its German origin means either "bee tree" or "bee hive".

Most of us had ancestors who were born, married, emigrated or died in Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Germany, Belarus, Latvia, Romania, Moldova or Lithuania.

Some of our ancestors survived the pogroms and holocaust and migrated to the United States, Canada, Israel, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, United Kingdom, Netherlands, France, Australia and/or South Africa. Some are still living in their native lands.

Some might have modified the spelling of their Surname or even changed them completely.
