Problems

Who should I contact if there is a problem?

In an emergency the first point of contact should be the the Duty Warden.

The Duty Warden is on duty from 7pm to 7am each weekday and throughout the weekend, although you should only contact after 11pm for urgent matters. You can contact them by phone:

x57710 (internal) or 07764285894 (mobile)

For life threatening medical emergencies, fires and crimes actually in progress, call the BEIT SECURITY OFFICE:

 4444 (internal)

If you do have to call the emergency services, call the Duty Warden immediately afterwards.

When should I contact the Duty Warden after 11pm?

If something needs urgent attention, then you should contact the Duty Warden - even if it is after 11pm. For example:

  • Water Leaks - if a water leak is causing damage to the property (leaking on the floor) or excessive water is leaking from a running tap
  • Personal Injury - please contact the Duty Warden, we can suggest local hospitals and help arrange a taxi or ambulance
  • Noise Disturbances - before contacting the Duty Warden it might be an idea to speak to the people causing the disturbance - often they will happily turn any noise down. If they do not turn the noise down, contact the Duty Warden straight away as they must be able to judge for themselves if the noise is unreasonable before taking any action

Use this list as a guide. If you feel that anything needs urgent attention after 11pm - please contact the Duty Warden

How do I report a defect?

To report a defect in your room please contact housekeeping during working hours
