About Me Dr Beibei Ren (任 贝贝) is currently a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, University of California, San Diego, where she is working on distributed parameter systems, extremum seeking, and their applications. Before that, she received her B. Eng. and M. Eng. degrees in the Mechantronics Engineering from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 2001 and in 2004, respectively, and her Ph.D. degree in the Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore, Singapore, in 2010. During her PhD studies, her main research interests include adaptive control, neural networks and their applications.
