Stone Carving: Journey to the Soul:

Stone carving is a metaphor for discovering the soul. 

What we do to the stone, the stone does to us . 

Stone carving is a process of removing layers of fear and self-limiting beliefs to reveal the hidden soul. 

One of my students at Gonzaga University wrote:

I found myself wondering if there were any shortcuts I could take to get the stone to shine.  This morning, as I was buffing it, it came to me:    The nurturing of a soul takes time.  It is a  fragile process.  And there are no shortcuts to be taken.

Classes are taught in a heated studio located at:

2331 Bethel St NE Olympia, Washington.  

Each class consists of four Saturdays from 9:00 - 3:00 pm.   Registration and clasees are ongoing.  Call or email for more information on available dates.

Fee:  $375.00  includes stone, tools and everything needed to complete a piece.  I guide the process gently and with great love.

 Private classes and studio time are also available.
