The South Coast Reading Orchestra is a community ensemble based in beautiful Santa Barbara, California.  We are a reading orchestra which performs the standard symphonic repertoire for our own pleasure.  The orchestra typically meets on second Thursdays of each month from 7:30 to 9:30 P.M. at Maravilla Clubhouse, located at 5486 Calle Real.

Join our orchestra and brush up on your sight reading skills!  It's the perfect ensemble for anyone with a busy schedule.  The orchestra membership is open to all community members from the Santa Barbara area.  Music will be provided at each reading session, however the musicians must bring their own music stands. There is an optional $5-10 contribution for each jam session.  The fee is collected during break by our manager, Marian Cohen.

If you'd like to be included on our emailing list please contact us at beethovenite@gmail.com.
