Tailgating coolers : Old ice boxes.
Tailgating Coolers
tailgating
- Drive too closely behind another vehicle
- Eat a meal served from the back of a parked vehicle
- (tailgate) follow at a dangerously close distance; "it is dangerous to tailgate another vehicle"
- (tailgate) a gate at the rear of a vehicle; can be lowered for loading
- (of a person or vehicle) Gain unauthorized entry to a secured area by closely following someone with authority to enter
- Tailgating is the practice of driving on a road too closely at a distance which does not guarantee that stopping to avoid collision is possible. Approximately one third of rear-end collisions involve tailgating.
coolers
- (cooler) a refrigerator for cooling liquids
- (cooler) an iced drink especially white wine and fruit juice
- An insulated container for keeping food and drink cool
- (cooler) a cell for violent prisoners
- A device or container for keeping things cool, in particular
- A refrigerated room
All that you CAN leave behind
You weren't allowed to take any of the tailgate crap into Soldier Field with you, so if you didn't have a car in which to dump your junk, you had to leave it outside. People left chairs, coolers, suitcases, perfectly good food, radios, books and more outside.
Top Shelf Tailgate
Good ole Landreneau had an open bar with top shelf liquor. No beers in coolers for these doctors (actually, they did have beers in coolers too). And, not missing any details, they had a flat screen behind the bar playing a loop of LSU highlights.
