Family Portrait
This was for our Christmas Card... I had a placeholder in the card for 3 months, never got around to finishing the card (newsletter) and taking a proper photograph. I had a neighbor help with 3 shots the week before without success, just wasn't what I wanted. So this shot, taken around 7:30 AM on a day where the high was 22 degrees, was perfect in terms of what I wanted. Poor Sam though wasn't too happy about being outside in the cold so early and without a jacket! Lucinda and I are standing on a large Igloo cooler, the Sam on a 5-gallon bucket and Josh on a 2 gallon bucket, camera on a tripod with self-timer. Unfortunately I forgot to close the garage door, so I had to blur out the license plate 'cause it was very readable. Overall, I'd say a great family portrait aside from Sam's fearful/frozen face...
