happy sunday! I'd planned to just veg around the house with the offspring today... however... my type A personality totally took over soo.. I've been avoiding filing some paperwork around here for .. oh..well. 3 months. which really wouldn't take more than 20 minutes. So in the true art of procrastination... this is what I did today.. ~ cleaned the lawnmower.. yes, cleaned.. the dust filter and everything. ~ mowed the lawn ~ brought the fans from the shed to the house..because it's the season ~ put up the tent to air it out, and make sure nothing was broken, missing or dead in it. I need it in a couple weeks ~ re-seasoned the bbq. (it's cast iron, and has to be seasoned randomly) ~ re-organized the trunk of the car ~ made sure the bike rack for the car was up and ready for the season ~ changed all the sheets on the beds ~ put up another set of curtains on in my bedroom, the darker ones for that night shift thing ~ cleaned three fans completely, taking entirely apart and removing all specks of dust and animal hair ~ washed the coolers ~ folded all the laundry that's been staking up for the last month, including matching a hamper full of socks ~ cleaned the counters off in the kitchen (some of that dreaded paperwork got moved with the other paperwork) ~ prepped the recycling for tomorrow ~ pulled together a bag of clothes for donation ~ swept and mopped the house ~ put the old water cooler out in the shed, because we really just don't use it when we have a Brita in the fridge ~ collected a those big water cooler bottles, and hope to get my deposits back tomorrow ~ cleaned our camping blankets ~ tested the camp stove ~ went through the medication cupboard, got rid of the expired stuff. ~ pulled together all Dawson the dog's old medication to donate it back to the clinic ~ pulled down the boxes from the laundry room storage and re-organized them. tossed out some that I just don't have the products to anymore ~ switched the curtains around on the front window ~ completed another load of laundry ~ filed that f'ing paperwork ~ and now the kid is in the bath I'm exhausted. and I didn't even get to organizing the kitchen cupboard or the bathroom situation. This little bird feeder was one of my mother's day presents. Offspring picked it out because of the blue. I need to get some seed and hang it by a window to torment the cat 24/5
